JARI operates as a key resource in supporting regional workforce efforts through community skill-building, customized job fairs and annual conferences, training grants, industry tours, job shadowing, rapid response coordination, school to work initiatives, and facilitating industry partnerships focusing on leveraging resources by activating business leaders from over 250 companies.

Through grants and partnerships, JARI is proud to organize a variety of partially and fully sponsored training programs & workshops to directly support regional workforce needs. Annual recruitment and networking events, co-hosted by JARI and PA CareerLink®, welcome employers and job seekers from across the region in a no-cost opportunity to match jobseekers with openings in virtually every industry.

Industry Tours

To introduce current and upcoming career opportunities within our region, school districts, community members, and business leaders participate in guided site visits at local companies gaining firsthand exposure to processes and product development from top-level executives and industry experts.

Youth Professional Development Conference

One day educational staycation for regional high school upperclassmen aimed to enhance confidence and deepen professional skillsets while introducing youth to regional assets and opportunities.
