The
group has embarked on 2020 Regional Vision,
a project to attract and retain young talent. The first step in the initiative will be to develop a study of the region's unique "Community Handprint,"
a measure of seven location characteristics relevant to young professionals. Based on the Handprint, the YPA will develop an action plan
for enhancing the region's attractiveness to that demographic. This project is funded by the support of Johnstown Area Regional Industries, the Cambria County Alliance for Business and Industry, Greater Johnstown Regional Partnership, Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, Greater Johnstown/Cambria County Chamber of Commerce, and the Richland Township Supervisors. |

JARI Hosts Inaugural Expo: The first ever Government Procurement Expo attracted over 130 attendees to meet with government agencies
from Pennsylvania and the U.S. looking for vendors to support their supply chains.
JARI coordinated the event with several Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) from Western Central Pennsylvania, including those from California University of Pennsylvania, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Private Industry Council of Westmoreland / Fayette, and Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission.
