Let your local PTAC match your goods and/or services with government buying activities.
The government buys everything, and selling to the government can be a profitable venture. Each year the federal government purchases more than $200 billion worth of goods and services. State and municipal governments spend more than $20 billion annually.
Pennsylvania Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PA PTACs) are part of a congressionally authorized initiative to assist businesses in marketing their goods and services to the U.S. Department of Defense, other federal agencies, and state and local governments. Each PA PTAC is dedicated to supporting our national security by ensuring a broad base of capable suppliers for the defense industry and other agencies, and to bringing the economic benefits of federal, state and local contracting to PA businesses.
A PA PTAC can guide you through the government procurement process and provide you with information on how to become more competitive in the government marketplace. Much of the counseling can be performed at the client's location, and at no cost. (PA PTACs are not-for-profit entities funded by the Defense Logistics Agency.)
