Financing Assistance
JARI's professional staff can help businesses with loans, grants or other investment vehicles for land acquisition, building construction, equipment, inventory, research and development, working capital or other business start-up or expansion expenses. Services include:
- Identification of federal, state, or local grant and loan programs such as the SBA 504 Loan Program, coordination of the application process, and assistance with application submittal.
- Connections to local area commercial lending institutions.
- Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant assistance through the Pennsylvania Innovation Partnership.
- Connections to equity investment sources - angel and venture capital groups and funds - including the local Enterprise Venture Capital Corporation and Technology Investment Fund, and other investors such as the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, and Pennsylvania Angel Network, to name a few.
